Think and Grow Rich: Part 5 – The Mystery of Sex Transmutation

(part 2 of 3)

Our desires are very similar to meeting a beautiful woman that we don’t know. Our desire is something we want because somehow it is attractive to us in some way, yet we are scared by it at the same time.

We become scared of it because we don’t know how it will turn out for us if we go forward with it.

We have to build up the courage and faith, internally, to take the first step towards it.

Just like the example where one would imagine they’re starting a conversation with a beautiful woman, we would imagine these scenarios in our mind so that we can build up the courage and faith that we wouldn’t be ‘shot’ down (even if we were to be 'shot' down, we would be okay with it).

Other people who meet new people all the time would find it much easier to just physically say hi and introduce themselves because they have done it so many times before. But, we can all agree that the very first time that they had to it, they experienced a similar situation – imagining different scenarios in their mind and gaining the faith and courage to go for it.

From these scenarios that could endlessly carry on in our imagination, we have to make a decision to take action towards it.

This would be compared to the moment that you want to start a conversation with this beautiful woman.

Without this conversation, a dating situation with her would cease to exist because it is one of the necessary requirements to ask her out on a date.

This process is repeated again when phoning her for the first official date.

However, the imagination process has shifted from building courage and faith to building a plan that will help us move forward from this point onwards. The courage and faith that we had built up before, feel more tangible in the form of confidence since we have experienced the results (the experience of it is the ‘proof’ that we seek because it stimulates our five sensors, therefore our confidence is increased).

How does the study of The Mystery of Sex Transmutation in Think and Grow Rich help us understand the entire philosophy of Napoleon Hill's success principles?
